Glass Blowers

Since discovering Sunny Brook Store several years ago, we have long enjoyed the books of Dr. Houston, and we know first-hand many of the places described in her story, The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree.  We are excited to contribute to this project.

David Wilson and Loretta Forde live in the Celo community of Burnsville, North Carolina.  Married, David and Loretta have two children.

Loretta has taught glass blowing for almost twenty years.  David teaches neon and installs solar energy systems.  Their work has been featured in several area galleries as well as galleries throughout the country.

David and Loretta’s hand-blown glass Christmas Trees feature a distinctive glass red ribbon.
